E3 has arrived!
Microsoft was the first contender in E3 whose conference finished around an hour or 2 ago. Xbox One or Xbone will be $499/€499/£429, much higher than Wii U deluxe edition at a mere $350! Microsoft announced around 13 exclusives for the Xbox One, most of them shooters that did not really look next-gen but slightly above Xbox 360. I will be writing a separate article on that later.
Right now, the EA press conference is live but I cannot say I am really interested. Not after EA’s constant flip-flopping act with Nintendo and their behaviour with Wii U. First they announced an “unprecedented partnership” with Nintendo then pulled the plug on Wii U games while partnering with Microsoft. I wonder how long that will last :D!
E3 is technically supposed to be from 11th June to 13th June 2013, but publishers have started first, starting with Microsoft on the 10th June followed by the EA, Ubisoft, Activision and Sony. Nintendo will use Nintendo Directs instead of a big press conference to bring information to the public, starting from the 11th June, 10 am PDT.
Here is the E3 schedule:
10th June (US Los Angeles):
11th June (US Los Angeles):
More announcements and events will also take place on 12 June and 13th June and I will update the article as necessary or publish a new article if relevant.
The E3 expo will last till 13th June and you can view all the information about coming events and all at the E3 website.
Here’s to a great E3! 😀
Hope you enjoy the influx of all gaming news as titles are announced by 1st party and 3rd party publishers for the Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation 4, Playstation Vita and Xbox One 😀 Keep watching for the review on the Xbox One conference as well as an article on Nintendo’s prospects in E3 2013.
Also look out for other E3 conference reviews!
